Brad Fullmer is a young man that is carving out a reputation in the traditional blues world as a fine guitarist, singer, and composer. Delta blues was dominated by the southern Blacks that created it for many years. That has been changing for years, and continues to influence people of all countries. Think about the deep influence American Blues had on British bands of the 1960's. The British Invasion of the time actually showed Americans the richness of this home grown music that was right under their noses, but was ignored because of racial prejudice. 'Black' music became the foundation of rock and roll in the late 40's and 50's, and continues to influence mainstream music. With musicians such as Brad Fullmer, the transition from 'white' music and 'black' music is showing the blues continues to become more and more color blind.

Brad makes his living making music as a valued side man for recordings, and plays an occasional gig in a blues club. This is his first recording. Everyone that hears him play agrees that he's a fine guitarist and music maker There's some difference of opinion about his lyrics. There's some at Big And Tall Records that question his abilities as a composer. They say his lyrics are nothing but obtuse word salad, that it's hard to find meaning in them because there is none. Others champion that very part of his talent, and say that his words, while admitting they can be enigmatic, have a depth and richness that takes some thought to comprehend. When there's this extremeness of opinion about an artist's work, it means that at the very least, you can't ignore him. That in itself is a good thing!
